God won’t make you walk in the Spirit, and the devil can’t make you walk in the flesh, although he will certainly try to draw you in that direction

My daughter is learning how to say uh oh. My favorite part is that she gets hung up on the first part.

Are you stymied in your growth because of feelings of inferiority? To whom or what are you inferior? You are a child of God seated with Christ in the heavenlies (Eph 2:6). Do you feel insecure? Your God will never leave you or forsake you (Heb 13:5). Inadequate? You can do all things through Christ (Phil 4:13). Guilty? There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ (Romans 8:1). Worried? God has offered to trade His peace for your anxiety (Phil 4:6, 1 Pet 5:7, John 14:27). Doubt? God provides wisdom for the asking (James 1:5)

Why did God make me? The answer? To love, serve, and obey Him

10 Months

At this time last year, I was blissfully unaware of just how upside-down my life would be turned.  At this time last year, I can honestly say I had no idea of how happy, and joyfully complicated my life would become.

Enter Anna Grace.

Being a father is a truly amazing experience and I have had the privilege of seeing many of my friends become first time parents as well.  I guess that is what happens as you get older…people procreate, adopt, and otherwise move into a parenting paradigm. (yeah, i’m proud of that last sentence).

My daughter is walking with assistance, actively crawling, talking (dada, mama, uh,oh, and the like), growing like a weed, and her laugh melts my heart.  I am so overjoyed to see her in the morning, and her smile as she is put down to bed at night is addicting!  I am blessed to have my little Anna Grace, and I can’t wait to get to know my daughter as she grows up to be who God wants her to be!

10 months.  It feels like I have done a lot of growing up as I have watched my daughter grow, and that is a great, great thing.
