The absence of praise simply means that someone has an inadequate view of God. To know him is to praise him. He is worthy of praise! We come to find that when we praise we are lining up with heaven. Praises are being heard in heaven continuously. When we stand in the mid-court of praise we are in the rare atmosphere of “the heavenlies” where God is seated on his throne. We are at home as redeemed, blood-bought, covenant people in praise. And our God is also at home in our praises. It is proper to praise. As children of the living God we are in our element when we praise.
